White Cedar Essential Oil

Our 100% Canadian White Cedar Essential Oil is wild-crafted and steam distilled from the twigs of the Canadian White Cedar tree. This clarifying oil with its sharp, sweet, woodsy scent fosters freshly focused intent, and is traditionally used to cleanse and deodorize, enhance meditation, and encourage deep breathing, a natural addition to your sauna ritual. It can also be added with a neutral oil to create a massage oil, or added to soap and water for cleaning the sauna.

How to create a sauna infusion: add 5-10 drops of the oil to the water in your sauna bucket to create the perfect steam. In the winter, you can form snowballs and add a few drops of essential oil and place them on the stones. Always dilute the oil with water and do not put them directly on the sauna stones. 

How to create a wood stove infusion: Place a cast iron tea pot or bowl filled with water on your wood stove, adding 5-10 drops of oil. As the wood stove heats up the water, the scent will slowly fill the room.
